My goal is to provide all of my patients with care that is individualized and tailored to their needs 

Welcome to ROC Psychiatry, I am so glad that you found us.  I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in the state of New York, providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management. My goal is to provide all of my patients with care that is individualized and tailored to their needs and unique circumstances. Managing mental health is difficult, but entirely possible, when given the time and attention it deserves. I value having an open and honest relationship with my patients, one that allows for collaboration and shared decision making. We all know that life does not stop when you are having difficulties, big or small, and my goal is to provide you with the necessary tools to enjoy life to its fullest.

I have been in the medical field for over ten years and psychiatry specifically for over eight years. I have worked in emergency psychiatry services as well as outpatient mental health as a medication management provider, treating all ages and all psychiatric diagnoses. You can look to me to be your partner in this journey as I believe in the least amount of medication needed, along with being upfront on what may help you succeed. My approach is patient-centered and tailored to your needs and goals. You are not just a number to me but a chance to improve a life, even in a small way.

I have dedicated my career to providing compassionate mental health care to adults with various needs  across different settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, emergency services (CPEP), the Deaf Wellness Clinic, Personalized Recovery Program (PROS), long term care, group homes, and private practice. The ability to draw on my vast clinical experience and knowledge leaves me well equipped to provide you with excellent, evidence- based care. 

I understand all too well how difficult life can feel when struggling with your mental health.  It  makes  a world of difference to  have a  provider who takes the time to listen and who is  invested in helping you find symptom relief and improved quality of life. My philosophy is one that values collaboration and shared decision making, where we work together to best understand your  unique clinical picture and  decide on a plan that  reflects your individual values and treatment priorities.  I take a  comprehensive and holistic approach with consideration  to  the biological, psychological, and social factors known to affect  mental well being.  I primarily offer  psychiatric evaluations,  psychotropic medication management, treatment recommendations/ referrals and am happy to collaborate with other providers involved in your care.
